The Humanette Juke Box

A puppet theatre designed to look like a 50's Juke Box, featuring songs and singers of that era. This is designed to sit in the corner of a fair, bazaar or street happening. People can select one of the featured songs, place a coin (50p. minimum) in the slot, watch the curtain rise and see and hear their song performed.
"Mr. Cry" is, of course, JOHNNIE RAY singing "Cry" or "The Little White Cloud that Cried".
"Dino Vino", golf club and wine glass in hand, singing "Little Old Wine-Drinker Me" resembles the great DEAN MARTIN.
"Primo Screamo", holding his trumpet in one hand & singing a medley of rocking choruses including "Buena Sera", "The Sheik of Araby" and "I aint got nobody"! Could this be the wild man from Omaho, Louis Prima?
"The King" can only be the great Elvis Presley, swinging his guitar and singing "Heartbreak Hotel"
The man with the red coat and long white beard, riding on a reindeer, singing "Jingle Bells" just has to be Father Christmas. (He appears on the juke box only during the Christmas period).
All of the puppets have a striking resemblance to puppeteer, Peter Charlton.
The juke box can be booked as a complete item, a short musical history of the 1950s. It was designed and made by Paul Goddard, the puppets were made by Ian Jones.
